“OHANA” PAINTINGS

   'OHANA is the newest series of paintings created by Roy E. Burgess. 

   The paintings focus on the people of Hawai'i.   As the kanaka moali say;

   “ the paintings talk story.”  ‘Ohana means "extended family" in the

   Hawai'ian language.  One visit to the Hawai'ian Islands and you long to

   become a part of  the Hawai’ian 'ohana.
