“EXCELSIOR” PAINTINGS by Roy E. Burgess

   “Excelsior“ is about the people that live in or around the historic town of Excelsior Springs,

    Missouri.  The unique and unusual waters in the area was discovered by the Indians

    hundreds of years ago as a healing place.  They found five different mineral waters in the

    area that would cure illnesses in people.  Later settlers founded the town and built many

    spas and clinics to serve the health needs of people from all over the world.
